Work Bestie Manifestation ("we", "our", or "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
Information We Collect
When you use Work Bestie Manifestation, we collect the following information:
- Profile information: Your name, work situation, career goals, goal details, spiritual language preference, and your responses to assumption questions. This information is used to generate personalized affirmations.
- Session data: Records of completed affirmation and visualization sessions, including timestamps and duration, used to track your streak and progress.
- Device identifier: A unique, randomly generated device ID stored in your device's Keychain. This is not linked to your Apple ID or any personal identifier.
- Analytics data: Anonymous usage events (e.g., sessions completed, features used) to help us improve the app. We use PostHog for analytics.
Screen Time & Family Controls
Work Bestie Manifestation uses Apple's Family Controls framework to temporarily restrict access to apps you select during scheduled session times. This feature:
- Only activates apps and categories you explicitly choose
- Only restricts access during your configured session schedule
- Automatically removes restrictions after you complete your session
- Does not transmit any Screen Time data to our servers
- All Screen Time selections are processed on-device by Apple's framework
How We Use Your Data
- To generate personalized affirmations and visualization scenes using AI
- To sync your profile and session progress across app reinstalls
- To manage your subscription status
- To send local notification reminders for scheduled sessions
- To improve the app based on anonymous usage patterns
Third-Party Services
- Supabase: Cloud database for storing your profile and session data. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest.
- RevenueCat: Subscription management. Handles purchase validation with Apple. We do not store your payment information.
- PostHog: Anonymous product analytics. No personally identifiable information is shared.
- Anthropic (Claude): AI service used to generate personalized affirmations and visualization scenes. Your profile data is sent to generate content but is not stored by Anthropic.
Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored securely on Supabase servers with encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. Your device ID is stored in the iOS Keychain, which is hardware-encrypted.
Data Retention & Deletion
Your data is retained as long as you use the app. You can delete all your data at any time from the app's Settings screen using the "Delete My Data" option. This will immediately and permanently remove your profile, session history, affirmations, and all associated information from our servers and your device.
Children's Privacy
Work Bestie Manifestation is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or by updating the date at the top of this page.
